Ruskovilla Switzerland's terms & conditions
This website is operated by Ruskovilla Switzerland – Schmidt, a company registered under Swiss law, also known under the commercial name ‘Ruskovilla Switzerland’ and whose registered address is at Postfach, 8802 Kilchberg, Switzerland. We sell products to private persons above the age 18 years in Switzerland and in the EU/EEA countries.
The present Terms and Conditions of sale apply to all the orders placed with Ruskovilla Switzerland for all the articles and services proposed by the www.ruskovilla.ch website. Any person ordering a product or service offered for sale on or using Ruskovilla Switzerland’s website hereby fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.
Ruskovilla Switzerland reserves the right to modify at any time the present Terms and Conditions (including prices and shipping fees) without prior notice.
Article 1. Formation of contract
Article 1.1. Conclusion of agreement online
The presentation of the products and services in our webshop (www.ruskovilla.ch) does not constitute a binding offer, but merely an invitation for the customer to make an offer. The customer can place products in the shopping cart without any obligation and correct the information inputted at any time before submitting the binding order by using the correction tools made available for this purpose during the order process.
When a customer sends an order through the webshop, it becomes a binding offer with the intention of concluding a purchase agreement in respect of the products or services in the shopping cart. When a customer places an order, he/she must also accept these present Terms and Conditions in the version in force at the time the order is placed.
Receipt of the order will be confirmed by Ruskovilla Switzerland via e-mail, which indicates the price of order, shipping fee (if any) and ordered items. Receiving an order confirmation requires an e-mail address registered when placing the order. The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the registration and the order process. This confirmation of receipt does not yet mean that the offer to enter into a contract has been accepted. It merely serves to inform the customer that the order has been received by Ruskovilla Switzerland. A contract is only formed when Ruskovilla Switzerland issues a declaration of acceptance, which is sent in a separate email (order confirmation or dispatch confirmation), or when the order is dispatched at the very latest.
Ruskovilla Switzerland reserves the right to decline an order without giving any reasons. Any payments made before the goods are dispatched and/or the order or dispatch is confirmed take place on a conditional basis. If the purchase agreement is not formed any payments already made will be refunded, albeit without interest.
Article 1.2. Conclusion of agreement by email or letter
Ruskovilla Switzerland also accepts orders by email or letter. After the order has been sent by email or letter, the customer may receive an email, which does not yet constitute acceptance of the agreement but merely serves to record the fact that the order has been received. Acceptance of the order and the associated conclusion of the purchase agreement only take place by means of a declaration of acceptance issued by Ruskovilla Switzerland, which is sent in a separate email (confirmation of order or confirmation of dispatch), at the very latest when the order is dispatched. Additionally, with regard to the conclusion of the purchase agreement, reference is made to the provisions of section 1.1 above which fully apply.

The customer may also make an offer to conclude a purchase agreement by telephone or in person. Ruskovilla Switzerland will explicitly draw the customer’s attention to the application of these Terms and Conditions (incl. explicit details about where these Terms and Conditions can be found). After the order has been placed the customer receives an email, which does not constitute acceptance of the agreement. Acceptance of the order and the associated conclusion of the purchase agreement only take place by means of a declaration of acceptance by Ruskovilla Switzerland, which is sent in a separate email (confirmation of order or confirmation of dispatch), at the very latest when the order is dispatched. Additionally, with regard to the conclusion of the purchase agreement, reference is made to the provisions of section 1.1 above which fully apply.
Article 2. Products and prices
Product images used in Ruskovilla Switzerland’s webshop are for illustration purposes only and are not binding. Product information in Ruskovilla Switzerland’s webshop is not binding and compiled to facilitate the user experience. All prices quoted are net and in Swiss Francs or Euros. The prices stated in Ruskovilla Switzerland’s webshop at the time of placing an order apply.
Article 3. Methods of payment
Orders via this website are paid when placing an order. Users of this website can pay by TWINT or by the following credit cards: Visa and MasterCard. It is also possible to pay by bank transfer. In such case the customer will receive an email with the bank details of Ruskovilla Switzerland for payment. The customer is responsible for entering the payment like a conventional bank-to-bank payment. Once Ruskovilla Switzerland has received the payment, it will process the order accordingly.
Article 4. Availability and delivery time
All products that can be moved to a shopping cart on this website are available for order. For products that are in stock in Ruskovilla Switzerland’s warehouse in Switzerland, the usual time of delivery is 2-4 working days excluding weekends and public holidays. In case the product is not available locally, a delivery time of 2-4 weeks is expected from the moment of payment received. This information is shown for every product available for purchase on this website. Please bear in mind that any information about delivery times provided is indicative and without any obligation on the part of Ruskovilla Switzerland. Article 5. Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, Ruskovilla Switzerland’s products are delivered via Swiss Post. If the width of shipment is less than 3 cm, the shipment may be posted as a letter.
A customer can order products to his own address or name someone else as recipient. In that case Ruskovilla Switzerland requires complete address information concerning both the recipient and the person placing the order.
Product shipped internationally may be subject to customs inspection and possible duties and taxes in the customer’s recipient country. Ruskovilla Switzerland is not liable for any delay of delivery or any duties, taxes or fees incurred from import into recipient’s country.
Article 6. Shipping fees
Ruskovilla Switzerland does not currently charge any shipping fee. Ruskovilla Switzerland reserves the right to modify the shipping fee at any time.
Article 7. Inspection of delivered products by customer
Immediately after delivery, the customer is obliged to inspect the delivered products for correctness and completeness of the order and potential transport damage. If the customer detects any defects or false or incomplete deliveries, the customer shall inform Ruskovilla Switzerland immediately thereof and in any case no later than five calendar days after reception of the delivered products. Ruskovilla Switzerland will provide instructions for the return of the affected products to the customer thereafter.
Article 8. Terms of exchange and return
A customer has the right to exchange or return unwanted products within 14 days of the date of shipment of the order. Products can be sent back to Ruskovilla Switzerland as a customer return. The customer is responsible for paying the postal fees caused by exchange and return.
The right of return is only available for unused products which are in their original packages and are saleable to another client. Ruskovilla Switzerland will check the condition of all returned products before making a refund. Damaged/used/non-saleable products cannot be returned and will not be refunded.
Please include your information (name, address, order details, reason for returning, whether you would like another size/color or return of payment) in the package with the items you want to return. The customer is liable for any returned item until Ruskovilla Switzerland has received it. Please contact our customer service in case of any questions.

Article 9. Pre-loved program
The pre-loved program provides Ruskovilla Switzerland’s customers a possibility to hand back used, intact Ruskovilla clothing to Ruskovilla Switzerland for re-sale against a reward.
Ruskovilla Switzerland will carefully inspect all clothes received, and if they meet the criteria (they need to be intact and clean, i.e., in condition to sell them onwards), Ruskovilla Switzerland will include the products in the pre-loved collection in Ruskovilla Switzerland’s webshop. As a reward, the customer will receive a gift card to Ruskovilla Switzerland’s webshop (depending on the value and condition of the item). We reserve the right to refuse and return the products in case they do not meet the criteria for resale.
Please send the products to Ruskovilla Switzerland’s address, ideally in the Ruskovilla bag that comes along with each product. The customer is responsible for the postal expenses of sending the product. Many of our products can be sent by post in an envelope. Please include your contact details and email address in the package. You can also bring products to Ruskovilla Switzerland events or drop them off at Ruskovilla Switzerland’s offices. Article 10. Data privacy
Article 11. Exclusion of liability
A possible liability is based on the applicable legal provisions. However, under no circumstances shall Ruskovilla Switzerland be held liable for (i) slight negligence, (ii) indirect and consequential damage and subsequent damage and loss of profit, (iii) unrealized savings, or (iv) damage resulting from delivery delay, or (v) any acts and omissions on the part of auxiliary persons of Ruskovilla Switzerland, be this contractual or non-contractual.
Article 12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
This website as well as all interactions and legal relations between Ruskovilla Switzerland and this website’s users and customers shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the substantive laws of Switzerland with the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
This website’s users and customers agree that if any party institutes any legal action relating to any controversy in connection with the use of this website and/or the purchase of Ruskovilla Switzerland products from this website the courts of Zurich, Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
